While I have been entrenched in the public education system, I have been a first-hand witness to the humanistic approach that our educators take today. There is a massive effort to change our moral standard from God to man. To witness this all you have to do is look into the revisionist history books and slanted English books to see humanism being elevated and religion (primarily Christianity) being either removed from or ignored in our history or being completely discredited and replaced with the secular agenda. The phrase “God Bless America” is almost an icon in our society. Its used freely, without much thought or care. Presidents have used it as well as the People. It is like saying “this is the last thing I’m supposed to end my speech with” or “I’ve run out of words and this will be a good ending”, while saying “God Bless America” isn’t wrong at all, I feel frustrated that its used by those who do not understand what it means… Read the rest of this entry »
