A Date on a Calendar

September 11th, 2001

As a date on a calendar, it was no more special than any other day. It was still 24 hours long, the sun came up, and it went down. Yet…time stood still. At (approximately) 8:46 AM in New York, the country’s heart stopped as we watched as a plane flew into the World Trade Center’s northern tower, soon followed by another plane in the south tower. Then a plane flew into the Pentagon, and a fourth plane was crashed in the Pennsylvania earth by the brave men who took control back from the terrorists. Read the rest of this entry »

We Will Never Forget!

Exactly 9 years ago we were attacked on our own soil, the likes of which had been seen since December 7, 1941. On September 11, 2001 thousands of innocent americans where killed by radical Islamic terrorist, not just those inside the buildings but the brave public servants who rushed into the burning buildings to save those who could be saved. Exercise Your Right To Bear Arms

Yes They Can, But Should They?

This week the President came out and gave what seemed to many to be an endorsement of the ground zero mosque, saying that the matter was about rights and freedoms. Do You Know What The Pledge Means.

The Pledge of allegiance has become little more that a nursery rhyme to children. Why is this? It is because from the time they enter the school system they are taught to recite it every morning without ever being told the meaning of the words. I have no problem with school children reciting the pledge every morning, I do it my self. But we need to explain the meaning of the pledge to them first.
